The Peelle Reunion Clinton County, Ohio. This reunion honors John Peelle (1781-1869) and his wife Lydia Bundy (1784-1856) who were the first Peelle family to settle in Clinton County.  John is the son of Reuben Peelle and Rhoda Pearson.  This reunion is the OLDEST REUNION within the Peelle family in the United States.  It has been held every year since the first reunion on 4 September 1891 at the Old Peelle homestead with 119 descendants present.

The Clinton County Peelle relatives are super fine people and anyone wishing to attend is very welcome.  The site of the 110th reunion will be Quaker Knoll near New Vienna on 3 September 2000!!!

My wife, Trish, and I attended in 1996 along with my brother Marvin and his wife Mattie from Virginia.  We had a wonderful time!  This reunion is held annually on the Sunday before Labor day in Wilmington area of Clinton County.  The officials in charge of the reunion are Cheryl (Kenney) Geer, Tel: 513-987-2288; Susanne (Peelle) Kenney, Tel: 513-58-2802; and Belinda (Brackney) Cook, Tel: 513-584-4003.  Everyone is welcome! The Peal Family Reunion of Dripping Springs, Texas.  This annual reunion, held since about 1920, is celebrated on the first weekend (two-days, Saturday and Sunday) in June in the Old Confederate Grounds in Dripping Springs, Texas.  The official in charge of the reunion is Thomas Cecil McKenzie of Austin, TX, Tel: 512-442-3809.   You all come to Texas!  The next reunion will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2001.

The Peele Family Reunion of Rockingham, North Carolina.  Held since about 1977, this annual reunion sponsors the descendents of two brothers, John J. The Jesse Hardy Peele Family Reunion of Goldsboro, North Carolina.  This annual reunion sponsors the descendents of Jesse Hardy Peele (1837-1893) and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Peelle (1837-1895), son of Mathew Peelle (1785-1860) and Martha Williamson (1792-1868).  What started as a "CROPS IN" celebration barbeque at the Nathan Thomas Peele's tobacco barns in the early 1930's grew into the annual Jesse Hardy Peele Family Reunion.  Various descendents volunteer each year to serve as the "Host Family" for a covered dish lunch at a site they select. The Joseph Lyle Peele Family Reunion of Laurinburg, North Carolina.  This annual reunion sponsors the descendents of Joseph Lyle Peele (1869-1932) and his wife Mattie Lenora Bowen (1867-1937), son of Thomas Peele (1846-1913) and Annie Elizabeth Gibson (1851-1883). The Brooks Peele Memorial Reunion of Baltimore, Maryland.  This annual reunion started in 1995 and sponsors the descendents of Brooks Boyce Peele, Sr. (1926-1995) and his wife Mary Rose "Honor" Davis (1930-1980), son of Sidney Albert Peele (1886-1949) and Debbie Alice Chavis (1892-1970). The Peel Family Reunion of Brooksville, Florida.  This reunion has been held annually since 1963 and is traditionally hosted, on a date in October and at a location, in Florida, by one of the children of JOHN FRANKLIN PEEL (1892 - 1962) and LILLIAN BELLE NELSON (1896 - 1969).  The next reunion is being hosted by two of his daughters, Iduma Miller (Peel) Jones and Patricia Nan (Peel) Arick of Brooksville on Sunday, October 1st, 2000.  The location is 4160 Batten Road, Brooksville, Florida.  The event starts at 10:00 AM and the "pot-luck" dinner is at 1:00 PM.
